Adheres to the standards set by Skills for Health, National Occupational Standards Core Curriculum and the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council. Each module is split between theory and hands on practical, exploring clinical cases in connection with anatomy and physiology, equipping learners with ethical and safe approaches for consultations, setting goals and planning treatment. Participants typically work in pairs practicing trance induction, deepening, maintenance methods and therapeutic techniques appropriate for diverse clinical scenarios. Learners must have liability insurance and student membership with GHSC; details are provided during the course. Assessment Learners complete self-assessments and submit assignments, case studies, essays and therapeutic plans. At the end of the programme, a final assessment day includes two written papers and a practical exam.
